I found this idea on another blog I follow but wish I had seen it earlier. She started it at the beginning of summer and had a long list of things she wanted to do with the kids before summer's end. Well we only have a month and a couple days until school starts so my list will be pretty short so I can actually hopefully complete it. I guess even if I started it earlier I wouldn't have been able to complete a lot of it with how crazy the past 2mo have been. I'm totally stealing a lot of ideas from this other lady too :)
Make Oobleck
Go to the pool
Make chocolate covered frozen bananas
Make homemade ice cream
Have a water balloon fight
Go bowling
Finish their summer reading programs and turn those in
Ok I'm going to think about it some more and come back and probably add more. There are a few more on her list that I would love to do, like visit a new playground, play mini golf but it's just SO hot, we can't have Preston out in it so can't really do that. Just making it to the pool will be hard, I might even have to send Mark and the boys alone one weekend and stay here with Preston. Maybe it will cool off just a bit and on those days we can get out and do something
By the way, little man is 7wks today!!!!
